Father God in the name of Jesus,

Thank you for giving us a fresh start and another opportunity to lay down our prayer requests and intercede for one another. Thank you, Lord, for giving us this Oikeo prayer call platform to lift you up and glorify you in the name of Jesus. To call on you corporately, Lord, because no matter what year it is, we need you, Lord, in the name of Jesus. We thank you for our moderator and the founder of this prayer call, Sister Denise Brown, and we give you thanks for her family as well as this circle of Christian fellowship.

Father, while we have gratitude for the past, we come before you today asking that you give us courage for challenges we will face in the near future. In the days, weeks, and months ahead, we shall call on the name of the Lord.

God, we ask that you would grant us your wisdom and strength, your Holy Spirit guidance, and your shalom peace that surpasses our limited human understanding in the name of Jesus. Help us release and discard any residue from past struggles and instead replace and refill us with hope in the name of Jesus.

Already at the start of this 2026 calendar year, Lord, we come to you seeking divine help to navigate the uncertainties with those who are supposed to be fit enough for civil leadership, that their motives and decisions aren’t aligning with stewarding properly over your people, Lord…We ask that you would give us strength and courage to walk in faith with you, Jesus, despite these uncertainties.

As we step into this new season, Father, we ask for more of your presence in the name of Jesus. Help us to go deeper with you, Lord, that we might receive your wisdom to make righteous choices. We thank you that you promise to keep us safe from all alarm, we thank you that the prayers of the righteous avail much, and we thank you, Jesus, that the blood still works!! Hallelujah.

Lord, we want this year to be a testament to your faithfulness: of healing the sick, restoring the broken and backslidden, condemning the deceivers, and making ways out of no ways with your divine protection, provision, mercy, and forgiveness. We thank you for using what the enemy meant for harm and turning it around for our good in the name of Jesus.

We thank you for your suddenlies, we thank you for your exceedinglies, and your abundantlies in the name of Jesus.

Please continue to order our steps in your Word, Lord. Please help us to live with boldness declaring your Word and your good works. Help us to trust you more with a no-questions-asked mentality—a Nike “just do it” mentality—simply because, God, you said so, in the name of Jesus.

Father God, open our eyes to the needs of our loved ones, family & friends, our community, our networks, and to the strangers in this hurting world you put onto our paths and place on our hearts. Empower us to be sources of prayer, compassion, sacrifice, and encouragement in the name of Jesus.

Father, we commit our plans unto you. We want to walk in the purpose you have divinely designed for us. Help us not to deviate from them or get discouraged or distracted when challenges arise. Your Word in Philippians tells us that He who began a good work in us will perform it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus’ return. Help us to remain steadfast in faith, planted in your Word, unmovable and unshakable, trusting you even when we can’t trace you.

We thank you for a fresh start and another opportunity to walk this thing out with you in faith. Bless our households and give us the grace for every step we need to take, in obedience to your will and your way. We trust that it is perfect and sufficient to sustain us in this new year and the years ahead.
