Oikeo Mens Call #1

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.”

– 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (NIV)

Are you searching for a community of men who share your faith and values? Oikeo’s monthly Men’s Call is the perfect opportunity for you. Held every second Sunday of the month, this call offers a space for men to connect, share experiences, and find encouragement in their spiritual journey.

In our first session, we delved into the importance of fellowship among men and drew inspiration from several key Bible verses. Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another,” highlighting the strength we gain from mutual support and accountability. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 emphasizes, “Two are better than one… If either of them falls down, one can help the other up,” underscoring the importance of having a brother to lift you up in times of need.

We also explored 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, which urges, “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.” This verse captures the essence of our men’s fellowship: standing firm in faith, showing courage and strength, and acting out of love.

Our discussions ranged from overcoming personal challenges to growing spiritually and building a supportive brotherhood. The Men’s Call is not just a meeting; it’s a lifeline where we uplift each other through prayer, shared experiences, and the Word of God.

Fellowship among men is crucial. In a world that often values individualism and self-reliance, coming together as a community helps us to break down these barriers and support one another. By sharing our struggles and victories, we grow stronger and more resilient. Fellowship provides accountability, encouragement, and spiritual growth. It reminds us that we are not alone in our journey and that together, we can achieve more.

Don’t miss out on the chance to be part of this supportive community. Join us on the second Sunday of every month and experience the power of fellowship and prayer.
